How To Stop Holding Back From Monetizing Your Knowledge

What Seems Obvious To You Could Be A Game-Changer To Someone Else…

How are you feeling about sharing your theme topic online?

A little insecure?

Slightly intimidated?

Still unsure what to share and how to add value?

Let's blow all of those mental roadblocks to pieces this week!

The biggest takeaway I want to give you today?

What seems obvious to you may be a game-changer to others.

As I navigate life's twists and turns, I've learned that sharing isn't about being the ULTIMATE authority. It's about contributing my learning experiences to my audience in a way that provides others the freedom and authority over their own agency.

Consistently sharing these learnings is how you'll build the proper authority and trust one needs to cultivate a thriving community.

I used to believe I had to know everything before sharing anything, a belief that held me back from creating the life I truly wanted.

Spoiler alert: There will always be someone who knows more than you.

And for that, I'm thankful. The day I have nothing left to learn is when life becomes incredibly boring.

That's my goal here in The Download.

I figured out how to:

✅ Monetize my knowledge online.

✅ Create multiple income streams.

✅ Own my calendar.

✅ Remove a salary cap.

And I'm downloading this information with you all weekly in this newsletter.

But I'm not done learning:

☑️ How to connect with more people who want to learn what I know.

☑️ How to turn those streams into more passive income.

☑️ How to automate systems more efficiently to gain back even more of my time.

And guess what? I'll never be done learning. Because information, platforms, and technology are ever-changing.

The transformation begins with real-time sharing, not waiting for expert status. Your unique perspective and experiences matter; they might be exactly what someone else needs to spark their own reinvention.

You don't know what you don't know, amirite?!

I was reminded of this earlier in the week when I saw this LinkedIn Post:

I've taken it for granted that everyone knows that TikTok rivals Google regarding search engine capabilities. To me, the news isn't shocking. After all, I had to teach my 14-year-old how to search via Google and properly identify reputable sources. Why? Because she's only ever utilized TikTok to search for ANYTHING.

🎥Movie trailer? TikTok

🥐Recipe? TikTok

🥎Softball Drills? TikTok

And while she attends a relatively progressive private high school, I'm not convinced they would be thrilled with a TikTok citation in her biology paper.

But as I rolled through the comments in the post, I quickly realized that many out there don't understand the power of TikTok's search engine capabilities.

🤯 Minds. Were. BLOWN.

So, let me repeat myself:

What seems obvious to you may be a game-changer for others.

Remember this story when you second-guess the tips, tricks, findings, and opinions you want to share on your own channels.

Don't take for granted that everyone around you knows what you know. Because, at one point, you didn't know it either, and I promise someone out there needs to hear it.

Not sure where to start? Here are 2 prompts to get your creative juices flowing!

  1. "3 Things I Wish I Knew Before I Started ___"

  2. "5 Things To Avoid When Trying To ___"

These can be applied to any platform of your choosing to help you build that trust with those you interact with online.
